So.. meant to update yesterday, didn't get around to it.

Yesterday was a very good day.. I didn't do a lot, I bought new shoes, and the 2004 IKEA catalog was dropped into my lap. Lots of goodies in it, too.

The shoe store in town was having a clear-out of summer shoes. I ended up getting two pairs of sandles, both very discounted. And neither have velcro. :)

I did get some laundry done yesterday, which is good.

Today I cleaned, and went into Fergus. And I just finished watching Nefertiti Resurrected. My thoughts on that will come later, I think.

I still owe you all an account of my epic journey on Thursday, but I'm waiting till I can beg a favour from Mike first.

So it'll just have to remain a mystery for now.

I took a break from a few chores and watched the Neferititi documentary with roomie princessvespa this evening. It does appear that they have found her... what do you think?

I plan to attend the corresponding exhibit at the Kimbell Art Museum after dawaioser and I finish the move. They have recreated the dig site down to the last hieroglyph... amazing! Lots of artifacts will be there. Fort Worth is very supportive of the arts... three world-class museums are practically within walking distance. Woo hoo!

My primary thought after watching the documentary was that I'd *hate* to be an academic whose project was funded by Discovery.

I thought the evidence was really compelling, but not conclusive.

Very cool about the museum.. Is that something the Kimball is doing, or is it a travelling exhibit? Do you have a URL for the Kimball?

I have an extra one. (I borrowed my Grandmother's on Saturday and mine turned up on sunday, after my grandma told me I could keep hers.)

Hrm..

I'm working at the building right beside Mel Lastman Square, so south and east of you.

Problem is I don't have transportation in the city during the day, and I have tight schedules. I have no problem bringing it in to the office, the question is how to get it from my office to your hands.

Where does your hubby work?
