If by "the dress [you] think it is" you mean the dress you came bouncing out of the Hook rehearsal while working on the Show book to ask me "is it possible to do this?", then yes, yes it is the dress you think it is.
I decided to focus on this first, in hopes of giving N as much time as possible with it and the accompanying piece in order to work out the choreography.
When I costumed Shrew, I made the dress with a tear-away velcro waistline. When they pulled at it and it split, it made a convincing ripping noise. When the show was done, I sewed the waistline together and added the dress to my wardrobe. ;)
