Yeah, I can understand the call of digital. I just haven't succumbed to it yet.
The camera I was having problems with is a Praktica that used to be my Grandfather's (and the reason I was using it was because of the lens that I have for it, but not my Pentax). It was made in the early 80's, in East Germany. The only problem with it is that the frame counter is broken. (Which is why I didn't notice until way late in the process.) And it'd cost way too much to get the thing fixed.
But the light came back later in the day. I was shooting things, not people or events, so I was lucky in that respect.
