An introduction

I finally gave in to the latte-drinking, transit-riding, szechwan-craving part of me born when I lived in Toronto and worked for a hip internet startup.
Ironic, then, that I only gave in after I'd moved back to Fergus. Here, the Chevy truck (extended cab, long bed) I have to drive is a necessity, and the lack of anything but Tim Horton's and anything approaching international cuisine is notable.
At least I'm working for an internet startup again, even if it's considerably less hip than could be hoped. But I do get to work from home. That's kinda hip.
So I was tempted by Mike. And if this turns out to be completely banal, you can blame me. (What, you thought I was going to say you could blame him? His lj's a decent read - why would it be his fault?) Given that I once kept an on-line journal the point of which was banality, it's a distinct possibility.
