A couple of minutes ago, I feltmembered a food's taste in my mouth, which made me want to eat said food, which I'd eaten before but was not currently eating, even though I could taste it.

Alas, I cannot identify the taste, which is a necessary step in procuring said foodstuffs.

I can see how that would be a problem. Clearly, the solution is to systematically go through foods you like and establish the identity by a very tasty process of elimination.

Brilliant! Unfortunately, by the time I read this, I had gone out to get lunch and picked up a curried chicken pie from the Savoury.

OTOH, that worked out pretty well, so it wasn't a total tragedy.

Though, technically, I suppose that counts under your Cunning Plan, as long as I don't have curried chicken pie from the Savoury again until such time as I've either eaten all the foods I like, or discovered the taste.
