Tonight, I'm going to see Encounters at the End of the World at the Princess with real_jayde, which I'm six kinds of excited about. At one point when I was living in the US, I looked into the requirements for working at McMurdo; it requires citizenship or P.R. status in the US, so I wasn't ever eligible.

Tomorrow we're going into Toronto for dim sum and Starcraft/friends.

Sunday is the Fergus Highland Games, and then later to my parents' for Rowe steak and corn-on-the-cob picked fresh from a neighbour's field.

Right now, Zen Gardens with 'nita.

Hold on. I thought that you told me that the Fergus games were evil and that only stupid people would be caught in town during the games.

Having said that, I'll be there tomorrow, so I'll save a spot for you. (:

And yes, if you're a local, the games are a massive PITA and remaining in town for them is foolhardy.

I, however, am no longer a local. Plus I'm parking at my grandmother's place for free and walking down the street to the grounds, so it's not going to be quite as much of a PITA as it might otherwise be.
