So it rained....

The paramour and I got together last night to play aerobie in the park. And we actually got about a half hour of it in before the rain started. At that point, my little hydrophobe and I headed back to his place before heading out to pick up some dinner. By the time we walked/ran back to his place, I was quite wet, so I went to get the car. By the time I got the car, I was soaked to the skin.

And the drive up to Northfield and Weber was an adventure. Holy crap, I haven't seen rain/flooding like that since I lived in St. Pete.

However, dinner was acquired, and after we ate and the rain had subsided a bit, we went back out on a journey to look at water levels in Waterloo Park, on campus, and in Victory Park. And yeah.. wow.

All in all a really fun evening, wrapped up with a few episodes of Father Ted.
