I am (I found out tonight) taking my grandmother into Toronto for a dinner on Friday night. I could go to it, but I'd much rather have dinner with some of you fine people.
The dinner starts at 5:30, and is at the Royal Canadian Military Institute, just south of Dundas on University. So I'm looking at somewhere within walking/transit (assuming it's running) distance of the RCMI, probably around 6.
Any takers?
The picnic was everything I hoped it would be. I had a wonderful time; thanks to everyone who came out. Look for a post tomorrow about upcoming picnics.

Date: 2008-04-28 02:17 am (UTC)I could be into this! Not much *on* Uni, but Chinatown is one block over. What do others think?

Date: 2008-04-28 02:21 am (UTC)However, the occasion is a dinner and short meeting of the Toronto chapter of the Nursing Sisters' Association of Canada. I must admit that my Toronto friends are considerably more interesting to me than all the sexa-, septua-, octo-, and nonagenarians who will be the bulk of the attendees.
