Apr. 9th, 2008 07:40 pmI somehow failed to tick a "don't mail me things" box when I signed up for Shoppers' loyalty card. Thus, every month, I get glow, "Canada's Beauty & Health Magazine".
This month's came today; I immediately noticed one of the teaser headlines on the cover: "Find a great lover (without getting horizontal!)"
Really? WTF is the point of that, exactly?
I assure you that, should I somehow find a great lover (or even a good lover), I will most definitely not be spending effort to avoid being horizontal with him.

I thought I'd mention that in case they had slipped that past you.

Date: 2008-04-10 11:11 am (UTC)In all seriousness, thank you. I hadn't realized. I suspect I'm getting "warm up" free copies before they hit me with a subscription request, however, because I'd have noticed a 7500 point hit to my points balance.
I looked - the article itself is apparently about how important the basic structure of your relationship (and things like "the guy doing housework" -- how very heteronormative of you, glow) is to a couple's sex life.
