So I've had an incredibly productive week; now I just need to keep from collapsing until tonight.

Sunday, when I was snowed in, I started to clean the house. A serious, organize-everything-wash-floors-nothing-left-sitting-out-but-furniture kind of clean. I continued on Monday night by doing my laundry. On Tuesday night, I folded and put away all the clean laundry from Monday, also taking all the clean clothes out, sorted out the "store til summer" and the "give to Goodwill" and "throw out" piles, then refolded and put away the remaining clothes. On Wednesday night, I took some stuff to storage at my sister's place, entertained my nephew as my sister and b-i-l put up their tree, then got a Christmas tree of my own.

Yesterday, I took my personal day. I needed to do my Christmas shopping, and get a haircut, and clean my kitchen and take cardboard to the recyling depot; while there, I also dropped off the Goodwill donations. I started with a ToDo list, and managed by the end of yesterday to get everything on it done. Of course, I was up til 1am doing so, and had to be up before 6 this morning because I was scheduled with my trainer. But it all got done.

Also, last night, I had my company Christmas party, which I've been working on for a while now as part of the social committee here. It went off brilliantly. And as a bonus, my "date" for the evening was

jascha, who got back yesterday. Afterward, he helped me put my tree in its stand.

I had my annual review; it was good, and I agreed with the areas in which I need to improve. I also got a bonus for the first time in my history of working for companies that claimed at the outset to give bonuses. I do love this company.

So all in all, a great week, and (most importantly) a blissfully empty calendar for tomorrow.
