Cuteness from the Easter supper table
Apr. 21st, 2003 01:57 pmFor dinner yesterday, my grandmother had my father and I, and the family of the former priest of her church up in Arthur.
E is a cool guy, and M is absolutely delightful. Their daughter M is a lovely, if beyond precocious girl, who is 10 or 11. Their son R is a cutie, and I think he's 7 or 8. M has decided that she and I are cousins, since my grandmother is her Grandma Elsie.
So I was sitting beside R. His mom was on his other side. M got up to get something from the car, and prominantly displayed on the back of her track pants was "Pure Girl". R said something about it, obviously thinking it was funny. I turned to him and said "So do you think it's wrong? Is some part of your sister a boy?" And he, giggling, said "yeah". "Oh? Which part?"
"The stupid part"
And I looked at him and said "Really?" Realizing his mistake, he tried desperately to backpedal, to no avail.
Really cute. :)
