Feb. 9th, 2007 12:01 amAs Bart Ehrman asks in his discussion of scriptuo continua in his latest book, Misquoting Jesus: the Story Behind who Changed the Bible and Why, was this a normal or a supernormal event?
Of course, my first thought was that in many situations, neither seeing bits of leavened bread dancing nor seeing lots of food on the table would be completely normal. But I digress.
I picked this book up at the Buffalo airport, and got 2/3 of the way through it before the plane landed in Tampa and life started up again. It's a good read. I'd seen Ehrman on the Colbert Report during the tour for this book and was impressed with his good humour.
Anyway, late now, must sleep. One more day of training courseware development and lovely temperatures for me before I head back to Canada. Tomorrow night is the Melting Pot. Hurray for melted cheese!
