I'm sitting at Gate 16 in the lovely Buffalo International Airport. I've been at the airport since 8am, when the shuttle dropped me off for a 10:25 flight. The shuttle picked me up at 7:15 this morning.
I got into Fort Erie last night at midnight, and spent 2 hours sitting up with my cousin Kelly just chatting and drinking tea. She and I are a year apart in age, and were close as kids. She's got two kids now, a 3 year old girl (who's almost as willful and defiant as Kelly was as a child), and a 10 month old boy, who's not a good sleeper, though he's a fantastic eater. She's picking me up on Saturday, and with any luck we'll be able to drop by Charlie the Butcher for some yummy beef on wek.
The border was relatively painless, though the border guard was bemused by the fact that at least 3/4 of the people on the shuttle were going to Florida.
I picked up the copper for my first couple of projects last night, and started to do some planning. I left the class early, primarily because of the trip.
Aunt Margaret's funeral is going to be on Friday. I'm praying the weather holds up for their trip up to Collingwood.
Very sleepy. Hopefully I'll be able to sleep on the plane.
Like that.
