Just gotta decide which job you'd like better, which commute would be better, and the side benefits too. Something I always took into account when switching place of employment (something I do very infrequently) is seriously consider the emotional atmosphere of a potential workplace. That makes all the difference to me as to how I'll not only enjoy my 1/3 of a day there, but how I'll feel the other 2/3 of the day.

You're very welcome... I know that for an intelligent, calculating person, you also run tightly on emotions and the effect that they have on your outlook to the rest of your day. It also comes through in your writing.
