for those skeptics among you....

For any of you who've wondered about the wisdom of my fabric stash...

Tonight's effort is the first in a hopefully long series that will see much of my mundane clothes-appropriate fabric turned into actual clothes. However, I cannot find my interfacing stash.

So, I went to my cupboard and pulled out the 1.5 meter piece of silk organza I have sitting around for no other reason than I thought it would be useful at some point. It'll be fussier than the iron-in, however, given that it's a semi-sheer silk I'm working with, it'll undoubtedly look better when I'm done.

So there.

well... I got the duster cut out last night, except for the facing. Which was an achievement, given that I didn't start till nine and then got sucked in by the copy of My Big Fat Greek Wedding I gave my mother for a birthday present, and also talked to ross for half an hour or so.

And, the duster was kind of fussy, in that the stripes on the pockets needed to be matched to the stripes on the body of the duster.

So it goes.

because it sure as hell wouldn't be *me* questioning the wisdom of a fabric stash...

Nope.. you just question whether I'll *do* anything with the stash.

Of course, I have to admit that it's a fair question.
