Monday Monday

I love Mondays.
This particular Monday suffers a bit from me doing too much over the weekend (it got off to a bad start on Friday night with an unavoidably late night) and then just went downhill in terms of spoon allocation.
However, it is Monday, which means game day, which means happiness. It also means new plants and a growlight at the office. More details and pics: On Saturday, I went out with cous_cous and picked up (pictures are samples from the web, not the actual plants on my desk):
a fancy leafed caladium
a silver tree pilea
an umbrella tree
two other plants that are either identified as "foliage" or not identified at all. I need to dig out my houseplants book from the box it's living in.
and c_c got a coffee plant
It's going to be bunking with my plants, since her attempt to keep one ended badly. We'll see if I can do any better.

Date: 2005-05-16 03:50 pm (UTC)The umbrella tree you gave me finally went to plant heaven. It got too huge, so we put it outside last summer. We cut it back at the end of the summer to a bare nothing, and it was doing OK for a while, but it caught some kind of bug thing we couldn't get rid of, so in the end we got rid of the plant. But I enjoyed for a long time!
