How interesting can it be, really?
Jan. 18th, 2007 10:37 amI'm looking through the George Brown College continuing ed catalog; there's a class there I'm hoping to take, and I figured I'd poke around to see what else they had.
Well, it turns out that what they have is Cheese Appreciation. Said class mainly seems to consist of eating different types of cheese (at least 30 in the 4 hours that the class lasts).
These are the course outcomes:
- identify a minimum of 20 cheeses
- briefly summarize the history of cheese and the process of cheese making
- compare the characteristics of various cheeses (type, fat level)
It seems to me that with a good book and a group of friends and a whack of cheese, you could probably do the same thing... and you could have wine with it, which I'm sure you can't on the campus.
