The Indonesian earthquake has pushed the Shiavo story completely from the Top Stories section and into the US News section of GoogleNews.

It's good to see reporting on the deaths of foreigners actually trumping the reporting of the death of one woman. There may be hope yet for us as a species. Not a lot of hope, but still.

I am horrified for the sake of all the others in that hospice, having to hear all the commotion during a time when they probably want peace and quiet and their love ones. It's shameful.

It is. At least one woman missed her grandfather's death because of the security that's been implemented in response to the circus.
