Ten Things I want to do before I die

1. Visit the church my grandparents were married in. (It's a 12thC chapel on the grounds of Hackwood House, outside Basingstoke in Hampshire. Hackwood House was turned into a Canadian army hospital, and it's where my Grandmother nursed during WWII.)


2. Have a child with ross_winn.


3. Do a doctorate focusing on Edwardian divorce history.


4. Move back to Canada, preferably to the KW area, though Ross prefers Toronto.


5. Kayak more often and more regularly, and buy my own kayak.


6. Own a house.


7. Visit Andorra. I've had a fascination with the place since I was 14 years old. I don't know why.


8. Decide what I want to do when I grow up.


9. Recreate the Katherine Parr dress.


10. And like angel, get a breast reduction, specifically as I hit menopause.

Where's KW?
I'd love to move to Toronto.
And that dress will be a costuming challenge, but neat!

Kitchener-Waterloo is about an hour west of Toronto. It's actually two cities, Kitchener and Waterloo, that have grown into each other. It's the biggest city near where I grew up, and Waterloo is where I went to university.

I've heard of Waterloo - I had computer science textbooks whose authors were there.

1) re: visit chapel where grandparents got married.

Adrienne, You know that is just down the road from where we live...(well, to be honest it might be about an hour and a half away).

If you came to visit, then we could give you a sofa-bed-with-inflatable-mattress to sleep on and maybe even drive you there. :-)
