The anthill is disturbed
Feb. 16th, 2005 11:00 amMy boss' boss announced his resignation, effective immediately, this morning. This, of course, has the whole place in a tizzy. I have had verbal assurance that I won't be affected. Whee! Gotta love life in corporate america.
At the same time, the St. Pete Times ran a story this morning about a state plan to train 30000 new teachers by September 2006, and raise the starting salary of new teachers to $35K.
Of course, that's still a massive drop in salary for me, but still. It gets one to thinking.
