Date: 2005-02-09 05:15 pm (UTC)In a former life I used to do a fair bit of radio corresponding for the BBC. I was listed by the uni I worked for as an expert on Celtic stuff, so I used to get pretty regular calls on odd topics. On one slow news day I got a call from the Beeb at my office to comment on, of all things, Celtic Tree Astrology (which is a bit of a contradiction as there is no astro in trees). So sure, I said a few words. For some reason the Beeb really picked up on this story and before you know it I was besieged by calls to do radio interviews. I spent the day talking on the BBC World Service about Celtic Tree Oracles.
What did I say? In a nutshell, not very historical but seems like a bit of fun, so who really cares.
