I am so cold
What in the six bloody hells is the point of moving to Florida if I need to wear a sweater in order to keep my hands from freezing and cracking off

Date: 2004-10-20 10:59 am (UTC)At least if I was in Canada, they wouldn't have the AC jacked. It's only 23 degrees in here.
My body is so messed up. ::sighs::

Date: 2004-10-20 11:07 am (UTC)Hell, 24C would be too cold for me to wear shorts.
I'm a lizard now -- my body's ability to maintain a temperature without external help has been severely reduced.

Date: 2004-10-20 11:58 am (UTC)Sweetie, I think it's time to go warm up somewhere - the cold's starting to affect your brain...

Date: 2004-10-20 12:53 pm (UTC)Seriously, stood outside at the bus stop this morning trying to hold my scarf and gloves over all parts of my face to prevent them going numb from the wind and cold. I don't even want to know what temperature it is here.

Date: 2004-10-20 01:29 pm (UTC)And the chill of too-cold AC is *way* different from the chill of an Ontario fall morning.
And besides, you moved to Edmonton.

Date: 2004-10-20 01:53 pm (UTC)OTOH, yesterday in the 11 degree weather, I wandered around University Ave in a light cotton sweater and capris, wondering at all the people in wool winter coats, hats and mittens.
I'm odd that way - I'll be freezing in a heated room, but comfy outside where it's much colder. It's like my body recognizes the obligation to heat itself outdoors, but once inside figures the furnace will do it. But the furnace is never enough, and a tent counts as inside.
