My political advocacy for the day

GLAAD has a new, very cool campaign: I do. It's an excercise in storytelling, with the aim of legalizing gay marriage. People were invited to make 30 second spots. All the ads are available for viewing on the website, and there's a pledge to support gay marriage. They're also taking donations to put the ads on the air. One of them (possibly the best one I saw) is already airing in three states.
So go, look around, sign the pledge if you're so inclined.
In related news, Nicky Hilton is working on annulling her 2 month old marriage. In one of the more ironic articles I've read in a while, the Toronto Star points out that Hilton and her soon-to-be erstwhile husband were married "an intimate affair with only four guests and a People magazine photographer".
In the face of that, I don't see how anyone can cite "sanctity of marriage" as a reason to withhold the right to marry from gays, at least not with a straight face.
Edited to add: And please, if you think this is as cool as I do, pimp it out in your own journal. I have a fairly small friend's list, since I confine it more or less to people I know. Pass the advocacy on.
