Beachy goodness today.. Ross took us to the beach. It's the first time I've ever swum in salt water. The sprout was happy and so was I. Days like today make me want to live on a houseboat. Unfortunately, spanish revival isn't such a popular style for houseboats.

Wednesday night, Ross is going out, so I'm going to be at the Globe. Attend me there. (There's no game Wednesday night, so there are no excuses. Other than living in another country, of course. That one I'll accept.)

Watch it!

As a product of the US education system, let me tell you how many times I've been surprised by Canadians (Ontario, so there's no excuse) who firmly believed that one travels to Michigan by way of Buffalo. You /can/ [shrug], but it's much faster to just go from Sarnia or Windsor. Oh, yeah, and there was the Canadian who wanted to go to Maine through Michigan. And thought that New York City was near Buffalo.

Granted, many US residents know little about Canadian geography - why should they? And why should a Halifax resident know diddly about the geography of BC, or an Ontarian about Florida?

who, me?

well, ok, yeah, it was me...the fact that I am a native Floridian made me do it...you know you only get to learn reading or counting in Miami...and geography is always amusing...I love watching Miamians point out Florida on a map...and indicating something like Indiana

Hmmm. Sam and I have dance class, which seems like a pretty good excuse to me.

How's about Hockey Tuesday?

8 pm. And Sam says Ross is welcome too. Apparently, he doesn't want to be the only one rooting for the home team. I,however, will reserve the right to make snide remarks about the lightning fans.

Sam tells me that it's all Ross' idea, that he doesn't want to watch a Lightening game with rabid Flames rooters.

Yes, the mighty Ross Winn, scared of a couple of girls. Chicken. ; )

Thank-you for the out of country exception - I was beginning to wonder how I would afford the plane ticket :P
