Never let it be said that being an idealist who tends to see the best in people until her face is ground into the worst in them doesn't have its downside.

I wonder if someday, I'm going to figure out the balance between caring enough to do my job, and not caring so much that it makes me confused, and upset.

And I wonder if moving into a different line of work is going to help that, or make it worse.
