On the ground in St. Petersburg. And life is very, very good. I love being home.
After a long day of travel, I got in around 10 last night. Had very good flights (god bless the hub system, cause I won't), both of which got in early. The Buffalo to Philly leg was about 15 minutes early. Of course, it took them 20 minutes to get the jetway working, but I still had time for spagetti and meatballs at Sbarro.
The Philly to Tampa leg was also about half an hour early, and my husband had called ahead and so was one of the few people actually there to meet the departing passengers.
So all is well.. I've had the ritual Waffle House hash browns, and then made a trip to the St. Pete General Emergency Room (Ross' friend who's the unit secretary there needed a favour). We made it home by midnight, and I got a wonderful night's sleep. Now I'm writing this in bed next to my snoozing husband, and life doesn't get better than that.
