And yet another WTF from the annals of the court, courtesy of the Record

Long story short, KW area 18 year old was sentenced to a year in jail for distributing child pornography. He'd been picked up for uploading to YouTube, released, and then the investigation revealed the true depths of the shit he was distributing.

The WTF moment comes courtesy of the guy's lawyer:
"His lawyer, Craig Parry, said he wished police had handled the matter differently the first time they talked to Baig.

“Unfortunately it wasn’t brought home to him quickly enough,’’ Parry said."

Dude, I'm sorry. If it has to be "brought home to him" that pornography featuring an actual two year old being raped isn't ok, then a stern talking to from the police isn't going to do jack shit, you tool. I understand about a lawyer's responsibility to provide the best defense possible, but blaming the police for not providing him with a true sense of how utterly fucked up what he was doing was? No. Just no.

Long time no post - how are you and the baby doing?

Jesus Christ, he is 18 and doing this. Barely more than a child himself. that is messed up.

For this stuff, the only answer is cut his balls off.

I did not need to know this. Ug.

Frankly, I think the police should be either commended or chastized (can't decide) for not pounding the little piece of vomit into paste.
At least he's 18 and there will be some pathetic attempt at justice. (as opposed to under 18 wrist slap)

Not only should he be severely punished and perhaps committed, his parents need to be investigated. You don't get that twisted by that age on your own.
