I am... bemused.. by the Cup&Up. I'm really not sure what I think, yet. (Warning: link has line drawing that might be considered by some NSFW)

The new technique, called the "Cup&Up" involves the insertion of a silicone implant through two small incisions and its attachment to the ribs and connective tissue with a few small screws and some surgical thread. Doesn't sound too bad, does it?

I'm torn between "the hell?" and "you mean I wouldn't have to wear a g-d-mned bra any more?"

No freaking way (for me) - surgery is surgery - you don't randomly cut people open (at least you don't randomly cut anyone I'm responsible for) just to save having to wear something any more.

yeeeaaaahhhh... i feel much the same about that as i feel about any invasive surgical option undertaken for strictly cosmetic reasons, namely, "WHY???"

mind you, i never considered wearing a bra to be that much of a hardship, even as a 40ish-DD. seriously, if you need to consider invasive surgical options to deal with breasts, why not just get a reduction done?? at least those have a longer and better documented history and known associated risks!

(and once again, i find myself cursing the lack of the Universal Tribe icon of cleavage ;-)

Yeah, smaller boobies would be great thanks. Good to see my people are doing something to help busty women.

Up to Email boss man and our budget. It'll be October - at a minimum - before we have the money again I bet.

I had a reduction about 5 years ago. I'm still a healthy D cup, but it was well worth it.

They looked like ittybittytitties to me, even when they were still cleavage-a-riffic.

If you want some info, I'd be glad to share.

"Doesn't sound too bad?"

!?!?!

It sounds horrible.

Think of it this way: bras and lingere are sexy. Slings and harnesses implanted in your breasts are not.

Hurray for smallish boobs.

okay- as a 36 DDDD, i have to ask
where the hell do you find bras? i loathe and detest that shopping experience most of all. and so few understand that particular torture.
