hel_anaSleepy (damn you sugar crash!) and behind on everything but my day job.
That about sums it up.
I had a lovely time this weekend at Centre Island with friends of mine from Toronto. We're planning a hike for sometime in June. We had a delicious, bordering on decadent picnic. It included:
- Caprese salad
- fresh vegetables and fruit (pears, asparagus, zucchini, sugar snap peas) and Terra chips, with dip (curried mango chutney with yogurt) which was not a total success but worked really well with the pears
- crispbread
- herbed pita bread
- homemade egg salad
- two types of labneh, one with with red peppers and one with crabmeat
It was delicious.
Like that.
That about sums it up.
