Long story short, KW area 18 year old was sentenced to a year in jail for distributing child pornography. He'd been picked up for uploading to YouTube, released, and then the investigation revealed the true depths of the shit he was distributing.
The WTF moment comes courtesy of the guy's lawyer:
"His lawyer, Craig Parry, said he wished police had handled the matter differently the first time they talked to Baig.
“Unfortunately it wasn’t brought home to him quickly enough,’’ Parry said."
Dude, I'm sorry. If it has to be "brought home to him" that pornography featuring an actual two year old being raped isn't ok, then a stern talking to from the police isn't going to do jack shit, you tool. I understand about a lawyer's responsibility to provide the best defense possible, but blaming the police for not providing him with a true sense of how utterly fucked up what he was doing was? No. Just no.
