Keep in mind that I'm decorative...
After I left work last night (at about 6:45) I headed home, slept for an hour, then woke up and had some pasta.
Then I futzed around for about 3 hours, avoiding the work I needed to finish by this morning. Because I'm decorative.
So I started the work at about 11:30, and worked til 1:30 or so (realizing that the people who sent me the source material for the training labs don't quite get the concept of "I need all of the sources for the diagrams, no, really, because you can't make EPS files from Visio ones, let alone at the right size, so when there are 3 diagrams showing 3 stages in the network configuration, please don't just send me the final one. It doesn't help", when I realized that I might well fall over if I didn't sleep at least a bit.
So I set my alarm for 4:30, and laid down. And sort of slept for about 3 hours. I know I was awake for at least part of it, but I'm not sure what the ratio of sleep to laying with my eyes closed actually was. Of course, when the alarm went off, I reset it for 5:15. When it went of then, I let it snooze, til about 5:40. Then I got up - and cancelled the 7am session with Jeremy :( - and finished the rest of the training guide.
Yay.
I sent them (at about 10am) a small, not-print-quality pdf, because the print quality one would have taken another hour to grind, and because CutePDF was gacking on an image (which image? I dunno -- I do know I wasn't able to find it quickly, so maybe it's actually there). Then I came to work, here.
So much for normalizing my sleep schedule. ::sighs:: At least I'm decorative.
On the positive side, it seems that my small request regarding the possessive of it has been heeded; the source material I got for the labs didn't make my eyes bleed at all.
