Yay

After a number of years, I'm once again an official, dues paying member of the SCA, Inc. With newsletters going to my home, and the lack of a Non-Member Surcharge, and everything*. And, thanks to the website being set up so that you can gift memberships (membership address and credit card address being different), I'm already a member in Ealdormere, before leaving the US. Whee!

Hrm..

So above all of the US midterm election coverage on CNN.com, there's currently a red breaking news banner: "Britney Spears files for divorce from her husband Kevin Federline, citing irreconcilable differences."

Perhaps it's just my cynical little self, but one wonders about the timing.

And if this is the Circus, where's my Bread?
