PSA: Dog looking for home

Hey Florida friends...

A co-worker of mine found a dog wandering the streets of St Petersburg and is fostering him while they look for a new home for him. His name is Mocha.

The description they've posted is this:

I‛m an adorable, fun-loving two year old white and mocha chihuahua. I‛m very smart, great with kids and house broken. I will pick up my leash to let you know when it‛s time for me to go pottie. I have a great time with other dogs and cats. I‛m looking for a loving family or someone who needs a companion.

When they found him, he was chipped, so they located the original owner. It turned out he'd been a gift from a grandfather to his granddaughter, who'd subsequently gotten pregnant at a very young age. She'd given the dog to an uncle, who moved out of state and gave him to someone else. What happened after that isn't clear, but it left Mocha without a permanant home.
