Three cool things about this weekend
Jan. 29th, 2006 05:35 pmWe went to FX over in Orlando. The show itself sucked - way too many people, way too many booths packed with the same collectible crap, and not enough things to do/see. I did see Summer Glau and Alan Tudyk, from about 50 feet away, so I can confirm that they are real people. Or really convincing androids. Either way.
However, there were some high points to the trip:
1) Lunch with heirondal and lalalenore. I got to spend more time talking to lenore than Papa Tiki's had afforded me, and really enjoyed it.
2) The Lego place at Downtown Disney, where we went on Saturday evening. They had bulk Lego. Bins and bins and bins of Lego of all colours and descriptions.
3) The Earl of Sandwich at Downtown Disney. Ross and I both had Caprese sandwiches. Mine could have used more basil, but that was a fluke, as evidenced by the plethora of basil on Ross'. Delicious, and I had a berry and granola parfait that was quite good, too.
Now I'm doing laundry.
