Sep. 22nd, 2005 11:30 am Remember this entry, in which I mention that the second bathroom's shower was leaking and would have to be replaced?.
Well, it's 47 days later, and we still don't have a shower. Nor, right now, do we have running water.
Why, you may ask? Because the nice young man from the glass place that made the shower stall that was due (finally) to be installed today accidentally drilled through one of the pipes when drilling the shower stall anchors. So I had to turn off the water, in order to avoid a repeat of the leaking to downstairs that precipitated the whole mess in the first place.
Shoot me now.
On the up side, the plumbers are sending out their next available plumber to fix at least the leaky pipe so that I can flush toilets tonight. And the nice young man is very apologetic and said he'd install the stall as soon as the plumbers are done, even if that means coming out in the evening. And my boss is very understanding about letting me work from home.
