Oct. 16th, 2003 03:15 pmAnglican leaders at a crisis summit in London have issued a statement about the recent developments in the church, chiefly Gene Robinson's election and gay marriage.
From the article:
The statement said the actions in the United States "do not express the mind of our communion as a whole, and these decisions jeopardize our sacramental fellowship with each other."
Well, gee, guys.. maybe this should be an indication that "our communion as a whole" doesn't have one mind.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again.. as a practicing Anglican, I not sure I *want* to be in communion with you if you're that disturbed by the idea of two people who love each other being married. Because I sure don't see a lot of Christ-like love coming from that camp.
