"What, you didn't need those eyebrows, did you?"

I swear there should be a "aesthetician to geek" translation dictionary.

Cause when she said (today on my "mini facial" lunchbreak) "hey do you want me to tidy up those eyebrows?" and I said "what does that involve" and she said "oh, just get rid of those little baby hairs", I *thought* she meant "those tiny little hairs on the outside of the contour of your brow".

I also figured it would be a tweeze job.

I was wrong. On both counts.

See, a girl like me needs to be careful, because I'm not particularly brow gifted in the first place. (Plus, I'm sensitive about that, since my ex-husband thought it was funny to alternate between pretending that I didn't have any eyebrows at all and threatening to pluck out the few I do have while I slept.) I'd like the look more if she'd left more hair.

So I don't think I'm going to do that again.. ever.
