Jumping on the bandwagon
Jun. 25th, 2003 12:30 pmThe question, from green_muse via super_dave via much_ado:
Could you leave everything behind (ie... friends and family) for a chance at a better life?
I guess the short answer is yes.
The longer answer involves being really glad that I've already made friends, and been accepted into a wonderful family in the place I'm moving to.
Of course, I'm not really leaving my family and friends behind -- these days, picking up the phone, emailing, or even flying is relatively simple.
The fact of the matter, though, is that if I didn't have Ross, and my family and friends down in Florida, I'd be unlikely to pick up and move. I'm a teensy bit of a homebody. (Who knew?)
