Question...
Mar. 6th, 2005 08:21 amSo, maybe I just haven't been paying attention since my mom's been here and I've had the move and unpacking and stuff... but what exactly is Frienditto? I've heard lots of noise about the use of it, but very little signal indicating what it *is*.
Any enlightenment would be super cool.

Once they do, frienditto's archiver can go and get access to any post that person could see - including friendslocked posts in your journal, if they're one of your "friends".However, this is nothing that could not have been done with a simple cut-and-paste previously. The main difference is that frienditto allows for this to be done easily, automatically, and (worst of all) anonymously.
Since it involves handing over one's userid and password, I doubt it will affect anyone on either of our friendslists, as we tend not to make friends with COMPLETE (*@#ING MORONS WHO HAND OUT THEIR PASSWORDS! :)

The sky is falling. I'm personally surprised at the number of people freaking out over it. If you don't trust the people on your flist to keep your friends only stuff friends only you shouldn't be posting things you don't want out there.
But why am I telling you this? I think you're LJ is an official drama-free zone.

Fortunately, I've met the vast majority of my FList in person.
