But he's figured it out! It's all Eve's fault, because she *picked* the apple, rather than letting it fall to the ground before eating it.

This lead humans on the disasterous course away from eating only fruit that had fallen from the plant, to eating harvested fruit and vegetables and eventually to meat.

And that caused women to have too little estrogen, which caused small hips, painful childbirth, a permanant state of readiness to bear children, and thus to the source of all moral evil.
