I'm home from the hospital. I wear out quickly, and I've promised my husband that I won't spend long periods in the basement, so a longer update will have to wait till later tonight or tomorrow.

Well, at this point, hel's thyroid is frozen and waiting to be cut up into little thin slices, so yeah, it's probably not in a position to do much writing.
