They stuffed and mounted Rudolph

hel_anaI just got home from my home town's Santa Claus Parade. My father and I were judging, and I had an absolutely fabulous time.
Admittedly, both my dad and I have a bias towards community groups over commercial entries. The winners were the local minor hockey house league association, the belwood beavers, and the fergus girl guides. There were a lot of really good floats.
But the one that will stick in my mind is a float for a car dealership, with a Santa's Workshop theme.... I imagine they were decorating it and someone said "But we need to get Rudolph into it!"... Their solution? A mounted Rudolph head on the back wall. Mounted like you'd mount a hunting trophy. Hopefully no children were traumatized as much as I was.
