Yesterday on the subway, I was sitting down when a couple in their late 70s or early 80's got on. She sat down in the seat beside me and he stood over us. I asked him if he wanted to sit, but he said no.
When it got near their stop, she stood up, and stepped up behind him.
And then she wrapped her arm around his waist, and rested her cheek on his back, and smiled.
