For my friends in Ontario: If you have any friends with bright daughters in grades 7-10, each of 13 Ontario universities with engineering programs is holding a free, special event on October 15th, Go Eng Girl, in order to inform girls about opportunities in engineering. They're trying to attract more women to engineering, since the rate of female first year undergrads has dropped 10% in the last 5 years.

Please pass it on to anyone whose daughter might be interested.
