Here and gone
It's now a week since I flew to Toronto. I took a bunch of pictures there, intending to make an entertaining travelogue. Unfortunately, the available technology disagreed with me, and so I have no pictures. Since I have no pictures, you get no travelogue.
Suffice to say it was a good, if wierd, trip. Good because I saw the friends and family I badly needed to see, and wierd because it was the least vacation-like vacation I've ever had -- vacations are supposed to have an otherness to them, and when you get somewhere and it's essentially coming home, it plays a bit of havoc with your head.
Now I'm home, and Ross is leaving tomorrow morning for his trip. John is with me this weekend, though he'll be spending a lot of time with his grandparents and aunt (and sister, with any luck).
Like that.
