On a slightly less infuriated note....
For lunch I had an Einstein Bros. Turkey Cranberry sandwich, with cranberry almond cous cous.
Wow.
Just yum.
The sandwich has roasted turkey and ginger cranberry chutney on a nice whole wheat bread. Absolutely delicious, and a really nice update on the traditional thanksgiving food.

Wrong.
Wrong.
Wrong.
Hawaiian pizza? Yummy.
Turkey with cranberry sauce? Yummy.
Pork with apple sauce? Yummy.
Spagetti and meatballs with bolognese sauce? Yummy. (In fact, the whole tomato/meat pasta sauce family kind of blows your argument out of the water.)

Traditionally qualified fruits.
And all that stuff you mentioned - vomit.
I've had apple sauce with pork chops and cranberry with turkey, but they are side dishes - not to be consumed with the meat.

I love the Tasty Turkey sandwich on a Pumpernickle bagel. It's not the normal bagel they serve it on, but they substitute it. Give it a shot one day.

That's just the way it is.
Haven't you mixed all your Thanksgiving leftovers together???
What about Mango Chutney? Tastes good on chicken.
Or Mango salsa on Salmon.
It's all good man, all good!

And of course citrus juices mix well with meat.
But there's too many fruity meat things popping up which make me wanna vomit in my mouth a little.

Now, mincemeat......I think it has fruit in it and it's disgusting.
