In case your news source didn't pick this particular AP story up:

INS workers indicted for shredding documents

Note that while the INS representative states that there was a hotline for people, they certainly didn't publicize it well enough for there to be any mention of it on the immigration newsgroups.

Ain't government employees grand? And isn't it even grander that barely any online news outlets seem to have picked this story up? ::sighs::
